WHAT CLIENTS ASK THE MOST

Your Questions Answered

HOW LONG IS MY PREAPPROVAL GOOD FOR?

The general answer to this is 120 days from the date I pull credit. Like most documentation for a loan or preapproval there is an expiration date of that document, meaning I just need to get updated documents.

HOW LONG IS THE PROCESS FROM APPLICATION TO CLOSING?

There are only a few things that play into this and the major component is how quickly can you get items to me when they are requested. I have closed loans in little as 15 days from the start of the application. Of course, there are circumstances that are out of all of our control that could delay that timeline. Almost all loans on purchase transactions are closed on or before the contract date.

DO YOU SELL MY LOAN?

This is also known as servicing transfer. There are some products that we can get a better rate and term on if we transfer the servicing. Keep in mind this is very common in mortgage lending. When this happens, who you make your payment to, is the ONLY thing that can change.
